The Helen R. Graham Library boasts of varied collections as follows:
A. GENERAL REFERENCE
It consists of materials such as series books, bibles, dictionaries, atlases, encyclopedias, almanacs and yearbooks. These materials are marked with ‘REF’ on its spine and are strictly for photocopy purposes and room use only.
B. GENERAL BOOK COLLECTION
Collection of non-fiction books in fields such as social sciences, language, history and literature. These are marked with ‘GED’ on the spines of the books.
C. FILIPINIANA SECTION
It consists of books about the Philippines, written by Filipinos in native or foreign language. These books are marked with ‘FIL’ on the spine of the books.
It consists of books on philosophy and theories of religion, history of Christianity and the Christian Church, sects and other religions. These are marked with ‘TH’ on its spine.
E. WOMEN AND RELIGION
It consists of books related to women studies and feminist perspectives on religion. These books are marked with ‘WR’ on its spine.
Collection of books pertaining to Christian experience, practice and life, Christian observance in family life, and spiritual renewal. These are marked with ‘SP’ on the spine of the books.
It consists of sacred books and scriptures of sects and reform movements. These have ‘SC’ marked on its spine.
H. RESERVED BOOKS SECTION
Consists of textbooks and collateral-reading materials recommended by the faculty as required reading matter and for the shared use of all students enrolled in these courses. These materials also include the newly acquired library materials. These can be borrowed only from 4:30 pm to 9:00 am the following day.
I. GRADUATE COLLECTION
Consists of materials intended mainly for graduate students but are available to all students, faculty and researchers.
a. JUDAICA AND ISLAMICA RESOURCES - These are collections pertaining to Judaism and Islam intended for graduate students but available to all. These materials can be photocopied or borrowed.
b. THESIS AND MAJOR PAPERS - This collection consists of theses and four major papers submitted and endorsed to the Library as supplemental reference material for students undertaking research. These are strictly for room use only.
J. PERIODICAL SECTION
Current issues of newspapers, magazines and journals (both local and foreign) are available in this section. Information files (clippings, pamphlets, maps) are also found in this section. These materials are for room use only. Photocopying of clipping files may be allowed.
K. AUDIO-VISUAL SECTION
Available CD’s and DVD’s include collections on the area of theology, scripture, mission and formation which can be borrowed for free if to be used within the school premises. There is a corresponding fee if resources are to be brought outside the school.
L. COMPUTER/ INTERNET SECTION
There are internet-ready computer units suitable for browsing and doing researches only.
M. Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC)
An electronic database of library holdings. It allows fast and easy retrieval of library resources.
