STUDENT ORGANIZATION

The Student Coordinating Team is the organization representing the student body. It facilitates all student activities within an integrated
structure composed of six committees. The Student Coordinating Team is considered a partner with the Student Affairs Office in the implementation and execution of the co-curricular, extra-curricular, and outreach programs. They serve as Liaisons between the student body and the Office of Student Affairs making sure that the sentiments of the students are brought to the attention of the institution and the position of the institution is made understood by the student body.  

 

The close working relationship serves as a venue for easy, immediate, and open feedback – giving in the service of the institute’s Vision-mission and goals.


The team is composed of six working committees which may be expanded to include an assistant to every committee coordinator and an executive secretary. The six committees are the following:

The international committee is in charge of activities that will help the adjustment of the international students. It takes charge of activities that help in understanding and appreciation of the multi- cultural dimension of the institute. The committee promotes dialogue of cultures among the students.

1. International Committee.

2. Liturgy Committee.

The Liturgy committee is in charge of the liturgical celebrations of the IFRS community. It is responsible for organizing the students for spiritual enrichment and related activities.

3. Newsletter Committee.

The Newsletter Committee is in charge of documenting the important events of the institute and featuring them in the official newsletter “Abot – Kamay”. They also organize and initiate activities that promote the interest of the students in journalism, documentation, and photography.

4. Socials Committee.

The Socials Committee is in charge of organizing all social events and other related activities.

5. Solidarity Committee.

The solidarity committee is in charge of activities that promote or increase social awareness among students and the whole IFRS community towards concerted efforts addressing the needs of communities in the outreach program.
